God has revealed Himself to man! Oh what a wondrous thought, that the God who is transcendent, that is, the God who is far above and beyond anything any human can understand, has revealed Himself so that we might know Him. He has revealed Himself through the creation itself, through His written Word, the Bible, and finally through His Son Jesus Christ. In John 21:1 Jesus once more revealed Himself to His disciples.
I. Jesus reveals God to man. (John 21:1; etc)
A. The revelation of the Father was one of the vital purposes of Christ. (John 14:5-11; 10:30)
B. The revelation of the Father to man was extraordinary in the person of Christ. (John 1:1-18; 3:30; 8:12)
II. Jesus reveals Himself to His disciples with great compassion. (John 21:1; Luke 5:4-11)
